The Management of G.R. Carr is committed to making its workplaces and property safe and incident free in accordance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act 2004.
It is the policy of the Company that the safety of employees is a fundamental consideration in all Company operations and activities and to ensure that employees work under safe conditions and in a safe environment.
G.R. Carr has a safety management system based on AS/NZS 4801:2001. We have a developed manual in line with this management system that includes many performance reports such as Hazard identification and risk assessment and accident and incident investigation forms.
G.R. Carr develops site specific Project OHS&E Plans to promote a Safe and Healthy working environment for all employees and Subcontractors.
G.R. Carr Pty Ltd has an environmental management policy in place that is communicated to its employees as part of the project induction. It is our policy to give environmental issues the highest priority.
As a minimum standard G.R. Carr will undertake works strictly in accordance with the provision of all current legislation. This ensures as far as reasonably practical, that adequate protection of the environment is provided against unnecessary exposure to potential hazards and risks.
